How to apply online - Three Easy Steps:

A) Registration
First read the privacy statement pursuant to the German Data Protection Act and enter your personal details.

B) Now fill out the online profile form
The more information you enter, the easier it is for us to gain an idea of who you are.

Ideally, you will have the following material at the ready:

• a covering letter,
• your résumé,
• a black-and-white or color photo (for Germany) and
• any important document which helps us to get to know you better (e.g. for Germany: all your most important certificates, such as your school-leaving certificate, your degree certificate (if applicable) plus any intermediate certificates of significance

You can attach a maximum of five files in .doc, .ppt, .pdf, .rtf, .txt, .htm, .html, .gif or .jpg formats to your profile, taking care that they do not exceed 2 MB altogether. New documents can be added on any time in the future.

C) Increase your chances with a proactive application
When you apply for an advertised vacancy, before completing your profile you will be asked whether you want to activate it so that it can be viewed by other Degussa personnel departments. If you click "yes", all personnel departments at Degussa and its subsidiaries will be able to view your data and make a note of it for future reference. If you click on "no", your profile will only be accessible to the personnel department advertising the vacancy.

Immediately after you register, you will receive your log-in details per email to enable you to view the status of your application, i.e. whether a personnel department is considering you for a vacancy, whether additional documents are required, and when we would like to see you for an interview. Your data will remain in our profile pool for six months, providing our personnel departments the possibility of getting in touch with you during this time.
