The fact that the worlds of culture and business can complement each other in an ideal manner is documented by a successful public private partnership model. Since 2001 Degussa has been supporting the wide range of exhibition activities by the museum kunst palast in Dusseldorf, where Degussa is headquartered.

"Creativity, dynamics and internationality – these are the hallmarks of the new Degussa," as Management Board Chairman Prof. Utz-Hellmuth Felcht emphasizes. "And that is also why we, as a responsible corporate citizen, are pleased to sponsor the museum kunst palast. Add to this the fact that this exciting new museum – just like the Corporate Center of the new Degussa – is located in Dusseldorf." The sponsorship of exhibitions has also resulted in the special event "19 Artists - 19 Pictures". For a two-year period Degussa will be exhibiting the work of young artists at company headquarters.
