In Africa, Australia and New Zealand Degussa is maintaining a strong sales network in order to ensure customer access to our products. In 2005 Degussa generated sales of EUR 281 million.

In South Africa the Degussa Business Units Advanced Fillers & Pigments and Building Blocks run production facilities in Port Elizabeth and Durban.

In New Zealand Degussa also ranks as the only world player with its own local hydrogen peroxide production facilities, providing important process chemicals for the paper and wool industries.
