Prof. Dr. Arnould de Meyer

  • Akzo Nobel Fellow of Strategic Management and Professor of Technology Management, Asian Business and Comparative Management.
  • Prof. Arnoud De Meyer is an electro-technical engineer and has a Doctoral Degree in Management from the University of Ghent (Belgium). Professor De Meyer's main research interests are in Technology Strategy, Management of R&D and Innovation Management.


Bernd Ziesemer

  • Bernd Ziesemer has been an editor and international correspondent for "Wirtschaftswoche" for several years. His assignments included Moscow and Japan.
  • In 1999 he became Deputy Editor-in-Chief at "Handelsblatt". He took the position as Editor-in-Chief in 2002.


Prof. Dr. Jean-Claude Charpentier
President of the "European Federation of Chemical Engineering"

  • Prof. Dr. Charpentier has been head of a research team on multiphase gas-liquid-solid reactors for more than 15 years.
  • From 1992 until 2004, he was Director of the Ecole Supérieure de Chimie Physique Electronique de Lyon (France).


Prof. Dr. Donal Bradley
Professor of Experimental Solid State Physics and Deputy Director of Centre for Electronic Materials, Imperial College London and Deputy Director of the Centre for Electronic Materials

  • Prof. Bradley was a member of the European team awarded the 2003 Descartes Prize from the European Union, for work developing the potential of polymeric light-emitting diodes for light and image display screens.
  • Cofounder of Cambridge Display Technology Ltd.


Prof. Dr. René Janssen
Molecular Materials and Nanosystems group, Eindhoven University of Technology

  • Prof. Janssen's research focusses on functional conjugated molecules, macromolecules, nanostructures and materials that find application in advanced technological applications.
  • In 1999 he received the “Pionier” Award from the Chemistry Science Branch of the Netherlands Organization for Scientific Research and in 2000 he was co-recipient of the Rene Descartes Prize from the European Commission for European Outstanding collaborative research.
