- acts as In-house bank for Degussa Group.
- borrows the funds in the Credit and Debt Capital Markets.
- provides liquidity to the Group companies and absorbs surplus liquidity from Group companies (Group companies do only borrow in exceptional cases directly from the market usually with support from Degussa AG.).
